Solitr

Description

Solitr is a single-player game, but there are many variations of the game that can be played, including Spider Solitaire, FreeCell, and Pyramid Solitr.

Solitr is a single-player card game that is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The objective of the game is to move all of the cards from the tableau (the main playing area) to the foundation piles (four stacks of cards in the upper right corner of the screen). The foundation piles are built up in suits from Ace to King, and the tableau consists of seven columns of cards that are built down in alternate colors. To win the game, players must use strategy and careful planning to move the cards in the tableau to the foundation piles in a way that allows all of the cards to be placed in the foundation piles before the stockpile is exhausted. Players can draw from the stockpile and add cards to the waste pile to help build the foundation piles or to move cards in the tableau.

How to play

  • The aim of the game is to move all of the cards from the tableau to the foundation piles.
  • Cards in the tableau can be moved to the foundation piles or to other cards in the tableau.
  • Cards in the tableau can only be moved to a foundation pile if they are of the same suit and in ascending rank.
  • Cards in the tableau can be moved to other cards in the tableau if they are of a different color and in descending rank.
  • If there are no more moves in the tableau, cards can be drawn from the stockpile and added to the waste pile (upper right corner of the screen). The top card of the waste pile can be used to help build the foundation piles or to move cards in the tableau.
